- Follow the news well enough for the GK section
- Score steadily across timed mocks
- 1
Start from the official pattern and papers
Only the Consortium sets CLAT. Its sample and past papers show exactly what is asked.
Do this: Take one official paper untimed, then the next one timed. Note which section costs you most.
- 2
Read every day
Every section is passage-based now. Reading speed and comprehension decide the score.
Do this: Read two editorials a day and write a two-line summary of each argument.
- 3
Legal reasoning
Questions give you a principle and facts. Learn to apply only what is given.
- 4
Current affairs and GK
Passages come from recent news. Follow it from reliable sources.
- 5
Mocks and analysis
Timed practice and honest review of every mistake move the score more than more reading.
Do this: Two mocks a week in the last two months, each with a written list of why you got things wrong.
Learning this with others is easier.
Ask questions when you're stuck, find people on the same path, and track your progress on DevLearn.
